Artistic outlines

The company is constituted of two circles of artists: a team of stage directors and about fifteen flexible soloist performers. The company collaborates with composers, authors, creators, improvisers and other groups of soloists. It likes to work on research, improvisation and new ways of meeting its audience. Mobilizing improvisation capacities for unusual encounters invented with the structures themselves, Le Grain puts its skills into the achievement of productions of larger scales with theatres, opera houses and ensembles. Its repertoire is constituted of new versions of works of the XXth century and of new creations. The company is a member of “Futur Composés”, a collective formed by the contemporary music key players in Paris and its suburbs.
