This music finds its roots in holy texts, poems or priers, originally recited or sung by american Indians. The origin is old. The score is contemporary. The stage design spatializes voices: metal tubes that stand up like notes thrown to the sky at different heights. The vocal interpretation internalizes the movement: the voice comes from the floor, divides and circulates like a mythical tree’s sap. [CD]
